The "People's Art Festival" this Saturday!!

As most people know here in the B-town area, the annual 4th Street Art Festival is being held this weekend. It is an annual gala event that is supposed to celebrate and promote local artists. The thing is, most of the local artist that I know of are street people who cannot afford the high entry fees or booth/space rental that is required to participate in the event. As an alternative to the 4th Street Art Festival some local artists and musicians are coming together to throw the "People's Art Festival" at the 3rd Street Park behind the Bloomington Police Station. Anyone can come and all are invited to display and sell there wares. The entire event is absolutely free and is being thrown by the people for the people as a means to promote truly local artists. Come visit the Urban Market on Friday and stop by the "People's Art Festival" on Saturday.
